As part of the continued growth of the Romford Ice Hockey Club the management are seeking an experienced coach to take on the role of Head Coach for RIHA, the Romford Ice Hockey Academy.
The candidate is likely to be in a similar role, or perhaps looking to advance from an age group or assistant coach into the role of Junior Programme head coach.
Based out of the Sapphire Ice and Leisure Centre in Romford, the club have enviable modern facilities and also successful senior teams playing in Division 1 South and the Planet Ice National League.
This offers the ideal progression route for players graduating from the junior programme. This facility also offers the chance to work with the senior coaches for the Romford Buccaneers and Romford Raiders.
The head coach will take the lead role with our existing age group coaches and in organisational adjustments throughout the academy. This is likely to include further recruitment to increase the present coaching staff, and the training of those working with the club to achieve their coaching qualifications.
An expenses package based on experience and location will be tailored to the individual applicant.
