We are excited to add Blindside trading cards to our sponsor partners for the first time this season and we are equally excited by the enthusiasm they are bringing to the task.
Blindside are bringing the tradition of collectible player and team cards to the ice hockey world and have already made their mark in the Elite League. Raiders are pleased to offer them a window to our league and here is what they say about what is a relatively new “thing” to UK hockey:-
“A great way to get into collecting trading cards is to focus on your favourite team or teams. On our online checklist, you can see what sets have been produced for your favourite teams, from there you will be able to see how many cards were in the set, the year it was produced, where it is available from and if you click the image of the set you will get a visual checklist, with images of all card fronts and the rarity of that particular card also. Some sets like the “Team Stats” set come complete with a single purchase and feature all the stats from the players of the team for the year in question. Other sets will come in random packs.”
“Collecting full sets of trading cards is a very popular way to go with your collection. The feeling of fulfilment and achievement when you complete a full set has been felt amongst collectors of cards for decades. These days it is also made easier by the internet, online swap groups on popular social media platforms like Facebook exist and bring you together with like minded individuals to form communities of collectors, always looking to trade and help each other finish off their sets.”
Specsavers and Raiders are delighted to be working together for the first time in 2019-2020 with their special offers on sight and hearing products.
Raiders fans will be familiar with the regular Specsavers announcements during game nights, coincidentally just after an event that questions either a player or officials eyesight.
It is all in good fun and Raiders aim to offer any means to give their valued sponsors a bit more attention wherever we can.
Specsavers for their part love a local cause and whilst we are sure our sharp shooters have great eyesight we know that Specsavers will be looking after them to make sure it stays that way.
Raiders are delighted to have the fabulous folk from Paradise Wildlife Park back for another season. PWP have provided the “chuck a puck” prize for 5 years now and our young fans play every week for the chance for two tickets to this great park.
The Park has plenty to entertain children of all ages, especially with the new Dinosaur section and the Speedway museum.
If you operate or work in a company that you feel would benefit from advertising with the Raiders and with the Sapphire Ice Centre, then please download our sponsorship document by clicking on the link.
There are many options and we are happy to discuss bespoke packages. Apart from the potential extra custom you are helping ensure that this valuable resource keeps growing at its current rate, providing local entertainment and an aspiration for the clubs junior hockey players to eventually emulate their heroes in the Raiders’ senior squad.
Dont forget that if you want to discuss the starting point would be to email our sponsorship team by clicking the link below↓
