Raiders will feel slightly aggrieved losing in over time in Swindon on Sunday 4th after holding league favourites Leeds for the majority of their game on Saturday 3rd. A couple of goals over the weekend for Tjay Anderson and Joe Tomalin’s second Raiders goal provided a bit of compensation.
But the weekend of 9th/10th/11th January is a grand hockey fest for the Gold and Blue faithful.
Friday 9th at 7:30pm sees the Raiders host Leeds in a rearrangement of the Zamboni cancelled game.
Whilst the Raiders recover on Saturday from those efforts, the Romford Buccaneers take on the Solent Devils in what are always very fiercely contestested games.
Then Sunday it is back to National League action as the Raiders do battle with the Hull Seahawks and another chance to claw back some points and get above Bees for the final play-off slot.
Dont be surprised to see a few of the younger players appear in all three games!
