Three game weekend for the Raiders senior camp

February 9, 2019

Raiders 1 look to get back on the points scoring trail this weekend after a restful weekend off.

Raiders have shaken off the disappointment of their 2-6 loss to Swindon of 2 weeks ago and look to continue their recent points accumulation.

Travelling to Gillingham this afternoon Raiders fans would expect a 2 point haul against a Dynamos team that have been short of power this season.

Facing the Streatham Redhawks back at the Sapphire on Sunday Raiders would again expect to make it a 4 point weekend given recent results between the two sides. But Streatham have a habit of getting results against the form book as last week’s loss to MK proves and they will be looking to redeem themselves as MK travel to Streatham today in what could be a demoralising double or a rejuvenating reaction to last weekend’s surprising loss.

Whilst Raiders 1 are attempting to close the gap on Bracknell, the 2’s are on the road in a single game weekend as they face Basingstoke in the rink who’s future was recently given at least another season of senior hockey.

Raiders 1 at Invicta today and Back at the Sapphire tomorrow, 4-30pm doors open.
