But no time to look back as a big weekend looms with Raiders on the road Saturday 23rd facing league favourites Swindon. Raiders are 2-3 down in the 6 game series and will be planning on cutting the Wiltshire teams lead by two points.

A home Sunday sees the Sapphire filling with the hooves of the herd as the Basingstoke Bison and their fans hit town and they are looking to bolster their challenge for the top spot in NIHL1S

Next weekend, 2nd and 3rd of March sees Raiders travelling on both days as a quick return game with Basingstoke is followed by the final outing to Milton Keynes Thunder.

The weekend of 9th and 10th of March sees just the one home game as Milton Keynes make their final visit of the season to the Sapphire in what Raiders hope will reinforce their final push for 4th place in the table to match last seasons position in an even stronger league.

The final league weekend 0f 16th and 17th March sees the return of Peterborough on Saturday and the chance to level the series with them at 3 games each. The final league game on Sunday 17th matches Raiders in Bracknell for what is probably the play off pairing in the centre of the NIHLS1 league table.

Lots to look forward to if you wear the Gold and Blue!
