The Raiders organisation were shocked at the reports of the on ice accident at Nottingham Ice Arena last night during the Panthers vs Steelers game
As we all waited for positive updates overnight and this morning our shock turned to sadness and grief on learning that Adam Johnson did not recover from the injuries suffered in the freak incident.
Playing the sport we all love Adam has been taken far too early and we extend our thoughts and wishes to Adam’s family, friends and loved ones at this terribly sad time.
Our thoughts are also with those that witnessed what would have been a traumatic experience.
Rest in peace Adam.
