The Raiders management are saddened that one of last seasons sponsors, MOD Pizza, have found that they will be unable to open their doors after the business effects of the Covid 19 pandemic.
Clearly extended closures are a problem for many businesses and for MOD this and internal restructuring has meant that recommencing business has proven impossible for them.
Many of the fans and players had experienced first hand not only excellent quality food, but unusually welcoming and efficient staff. Our social evening there just before the lockdown will remain in the memory of many of our younger fans as they mixed with the team.
We would like to extend our best wishes to the management and staff of the Romford branch and hope that improved luck sees you all employed again soon in jobs you enjoy as much as you appeared to enjoy being part of MOD
