The Raiders proved that last season’s “bouncebackability” is still available as they overturn last weeks sluggish 1-5 loss at the Sapphire with a more impressive 6-5 victory against the same opponents, Swindon Wildcats.
The result would have been even more convincing but for a noticeable slow down in the third period that allowed the Wildcats to take an embarrasing 6-1 scoreline to the more respectable 6-5, courtesy of some brave coaching and a netminder rarely in his crease for the last 5 minutes.
