TSI Bees and Everyone Active Raiders will return to action in the now traditional Everyone Active Shield the week before the new Planet Ice National League campaign starts (on 17th and 18th September).
Raiders will visit Everyone Active’s Montem lane rink on Saturday 10th September as Bees have home advantage and will then host the travelling Bees on Sunday 11th September at the Sapphire.
Bees currently hold the Everone Active Shield and both teams will be very keen to successfully showcase the changes and reinforcements made over the summer break.
Bees and Raiders have been locked together in the league for a few seasons now and these games are a great way to get back to action and gauge the squad adjustments. As our most local rivals, Raiders fans always travel in numbers the short journey around the M25 and it is ideal preparation for the G&B Army as well for what is undoubtedly going to be another cracking season for all teams in the newly titled Planet Ice National League.
In the event of an aggregate tie at the end of regulation play on Sunday, overtime and penalties will be available to separate the teams potentially making this the second home game of the season even more exciting.
And of course a chance to pick up the first silverware of the season beckons the successful winner!
