Raider’s sharp eyed fans will have noticed the absence of Dman Dan Scott over the past few streaming games and doubtless will have seen him cheering on the lads from the stands in the Raiders photo galleries.
Well in the first weekend with Telford Dan picked up a leg injury that continues to niggle and his recovery needs to be sensibly paced rather than rushed with a desire to get back to helping the team pick up their first win.
With that in mind we have convinced Dan to forget about playing until he is fully recovered.
So rather than leave the fans wondering when he is going to re-appear we thought it best to announce the issue. Dan is predictably “gutted” to be missing from action after waiting so long for action to start and we are sure everyone will sympathise with him.
In the meantime we all wish him a speedy recovery and get back on the ice as soon as he can sensibly do so.
And buy a different mug.
