Just two weekends remain of the Spring Cup and our return to play action is live tonight from 3-30pm as we face again the Swindon Wildcats in this live streamed event.
Raiders have shown some great promise these last few weeks when faced with some seriously boosted NIHL opposition and even-handed, games have been very competetive. Keeping even-handed will be the challenge again this weekend as whistle confiscation will be considered.

But the big question is, will next weekend be the final action before the start of next season in September? Well we wish we knew. Discussions continue to see if a further playing series will be enabled and more meetings are due this week to run through the logistics and finances. The teams want it, the players want it, the fans want it and the sport needs it but decisions on financing the fan-less playing environment remain.
Of course many of the drafted in players will be returning to Elite league teams at the beginning of April so whatever competition takes place in the National League will take on a very different look as teams draw upon their normal rosters to replace the reinforcements and team GB players that will naturally move on.
