For those fans of Raiders Ice Hockey that haven’t yet bothered to do the maths after recent announcements, you may be surprised to learn you will be able to feast your senses on a minimum of 44 home games of senior ice hockey at the Sapphire this season. Add some challenges cup and play-off and that is quite a banquet.
Raiders NIHL National League Tickets
With the league structure settled and dates for the new National League imminent, the Raiders are delighted to be able to announce the costs for this season’s tickets.
With the greater costs involved in the new league there does need to be a price increase unfortunately but with our normal budget planning we believe we have kept these to the sensible minimum. Your normal support of all we do is appreciated and will ensure that these cost increases are adequate.
National League 2019-2020 ticket costs

Player members of the Raiders Junior club will get a £3 discount from the Youngsters price on showing their club membership cards.
Tickets will be again available using the on line ticketing system that proved so popular last season.
Raiders concession groups were quite extensive before but we have taken the decision to simplify and revert to just two categories in future, being over 65’s and registered disabled (and 1 accompanying registered carer).
Our season tickets will also follow the same format as last season but for 2019-2020 these are based on the regular 26 home game season.
Season ticket holders from last season will be given first refusal on the same seats for this season, so please make sure to mention this on your season ticket application.

Apart from being able to reserve your seat with your season ticket, and a speedier entry process you will also be able to get discounted entry into the division 1 games. These discounts are reduced this year but will be:-

As per last season, we will need passport photos of each ticket holder and these should be the “standard” 45mm tall x 35mm wide format and ideally will actually look like you.
Our intention is for tickets and photos to be exchanged before the first league game which will be Sunday 22nd September. With a number of pre-season events planned there should be plenty of opportunities for this to happen but if there is a need we will hold collection / payment evenings in the Sapphire.
We hope to be able to issue the fixtures for the National team by the end of the week, Friday 19th July.
Raiders NIHL Division 1 South Tickets
Raiders second senior team face their first season in the NIHLS1 (Britton) conference and with their fixtures also soon to be announced can advise on the ticket costs for 2019-2020
Again the team face an increase in the level they are operating and some changes to costs have been inevitable.
For this season, using the same categories as the Raiders National Team the costs will be

Members of the Raiders Junior club get a discounted entry at £2-50 (with ID card)
The Raiders Div 1 team will not be offering on line tickets or season tickets for this season.
We hope to be able to confirm the Div 1 fixtures around a week after the National Team fixtures.
