Following a number of high profile sports cancelling their games and in some cases the remaining season, the EIHA have issued their thoughts on the short term situation.
The games over the weekend of 14th and 15th March are to proceed but those vulnerable to the Corona Virus are advised to seriously consider their attendance of these or any other large gatherings.
The previously issued guidelines on hand hygene are repeated and expanded upon to request any that feel unwell do not attend games.
Further thoughts will be applied to the situation early next week in respect of the games over the weekend 21st and 22nd and of course the play offs and Coventry weekend beyond that.
In the meantime let us carefully and safely enjoy some hockey!
