Raiders faithful are already booked in their hundreds (well 1 1/2 hundreds) for the end of season bash.
This season we have moved to the more local Berwick Manor in the lanes between Rainham, South Ockenden and Upminster, postcode RM13 9EL.
As usual it will be about celebrating the season past and the effort put in by our team and volunteers, win, tie or lose.
We will be presenting a number of awards including coaches and fans player of the year and the hotly contested and valued players’ player of the year.
For those that really plan on celebrating thoroughly, rooms are available for around £78 for a double or twin including breakfast.
Seated tickets including the buffet are pretty well sold out at £21 for an adult and £12 for a youngster (5-15). Unders 5’s as per our normal practice are free. Seating plans are in place so your seat is guaranteed but normally abandoned after the awards are given in favour of the bar/dance floor or shirt signing and photo areas.
Those coming to the later night celebration only (after 9-30) will be charged £5 on the door.
Timing is expected to be:_
7.00pm Drinks on the terrace and entrance whilst being entertained by our close up magician.
8.00pm Buffet open for food, whilst the magician tries to hide it.
9-00pm Start of presentations to players
9.30pm Start of awards announcements
11pm music wind down
1am bar close if anyone is that hard core
The event rarely goes precisely to time (too much gossiping going on) but the above is what we are hoping for.

On the evening we will also take cash or card on the door, but some advance payments (before 12 noon on Friday 13th) will make entry a bit faster.
As usual we will have music and a large bar and dance floor for those inclined to make up for a couple of years of lock-down.
Looking forward to seeing a great deal of familiar faces, most of the players, and generating a few rumours mixed in with news!
Own and loan shirts can be collected at the event and hunting down a player for signing and photos is often the sport of the evening. 🙂
