Raiders management have been advised by Basingstoke and the National League Management that tomorrow’s game in Basingstoke will not now take place.
Basingstoke’s team have apparently been suffering from Flu and Sickness symptoms for some time and this week this has apparently meant no training has taken place. The available squad members are now we are told lower than those required to fulfil a fixture.
We are told that no players are available from other Basingstoke squads so a decision has been made to postpone tomorrow’s game vs Raiders.
We apologise to all fans who had made arrangements on the basis of attending tomorrow. We also wish well all the players and their family members affected by this illness and hope they recover fully soon.
If any relevant updates are made available then we will advise by updating this news item.
A potential date for the re-arranged game would be Sunday 19th March.
This of course does not affect our game at home on Sunday vs Telford Tigers which shall be proceeding as planned.
