As most fans will be aware Erik Piatak has not played since he suffered a return of the knee condition that also saw him miss a number of games last season.
Erik was having this treated at home, and this recently extended to an operation which we understand would have left him unable to resume no earlier than February 2023.
With Adam Laishram not always being available to “fill in” for occasional absences, such a long term problem clearly needed another approach.
It was therefore mutually agreed to release Erik from his contract and we understand his plans for the future include playing at a more “recreational level” when his recovery is complete.
We would like to thank Erik for his service over the past 4 seasons and wish him and his family all the very best for the future.
