Raiders are pleased to announce the now traditional set of pre-season games to kick the rust off the skates in preparation for another great season in the Planet Ice National League. With some new players to unveil (for all teams) these will be an ideal opportunity for the new line combinations to adjust to each-others game.
Raiders start with an unusual Saturday home game on the 9th September as the Peterborough Phantoms visit the Sapphire in Romford. The return fixture is at Peterborough on Sunday 10th as Raiders look to improve on last year’s results which saw a win away and a loss at home.

The following weekend of 16th and 17th see the return of the Everyone Active Shield. Raiders, the present holders of the shield after a pair of wins last season, head to Slough on Saturday 16th for the first leg against a much-changed Bees roster. Sunday action at the Sapphire on Sunday 17th will see Raiders hosting the Bees and aiming for a two-leg aggregate win and maintain possession of the shield for another 12 months.

For those keen to plan the rest of the hockey season, draft fixtures are already in place and being subjected to final clarifications with the first National League, league and cup games planned for the weekend of 23rd and 24th September against…………..
……..well we will be back to you when confirmed. At the moment there are no less than seven weekend days with no fixture so a few days to remind your family who you are.
The pre-season games will soon be uploaded to the ticketco on line ticketing system. Just over 2 months to go and we all know this will just fly by!
